 You're welcome. I've got it applied now and it looks beautiful. You are definitely onto something here, this is going to be great.
I guess I need LSPatch for this, I'm going to have to find a copy of that somewhere. I'm assuming you've tried ernasco's skin at some point. You know how his Start menu is with the buttons at the bottom and all and that it doesn't even need LSPatch? Are you planning on doing something like his for the Start menu and avoiding LSPatch? Keep up the great work, Ian. This is exciting, I've still got to try the show desktop option in a few minutes. I just noticed something. I haven't even applied the show desktop stuff yet or copied any files. The show desktop square in the bottom right corner is missing using the Aero 32px taskbar on bottom. I tried reapplying the skin and it is still missing.

Yes. This will be implemented - maybe in the next version so that people can avoid the LSPatch. I would honestly prefer to avoid LSPatch altogether, of course. I haven't seen any other skins that have the Start menu buttons like ernasco has done it (and I know it took him a while with trial and error) but it is possible. You could always try asking him how he did it, he seems very nice. Or maybe ask to 'borrow' some of the images and dimensions he used.  Oh I see, I guess I just assumed that the normal mode (without the show desktop) would have been default. Anyways, that's brilliant! So simple, yet I love it. Such a cool little utility.

The Window Caption Glow added male this look so much like Windows 7 that when I saw one of my friends using this skin with WB and also WindowsFX it would fool me if I didn't take a look at sys. properties or when I press Control+Alt+delete I would have actually thought my friend would have had Windows 7. Aero Xtreme XP FTW!

It seems a shame to have the journey reach it's final destination, but it's very possible that the end is in sight with InTime's Aero Xtreme 7, because I can't imagine anyone topping it. In combination with Cellular's 'Show Desktop' app (included in the download) this skin mimics Windows 7 on XP in a way that will be VERY hard to surpass.
When Ian and the gang at InTime put the finishing touches (such as changable user pics) on the final release of Aero Extreme 7, I truly don't envision myself looking any further for a fast, neatly versatile and reliable way to make Windows XP look and act exactly like Windows' newest operating system.
The journey had to end somewhere, I suppose. Aero Extreme 7 looks like a very, very inviting place to rest.
