Artist's Comments Looking for the best Windows 7 WB skin for XP? Get it here [link] AeroTime Final Released June 25, 2009, 2:15 PM ET This is the final version of AeroTime! The time has finally come for me to move on to Aero Xtreme 7. The clear Start Menu that was intended for AeroTime SE4 turned out to be a Windows 7 Style start menu which prompted me to halt all development of AeroTime and concentrate my efforts on a Windows 7 WB skin. AeroTime Final Changelog - Fixed Start Menu 'All Programs' mouse over highlight to not cover arrow. Highlight bar has also been shortened so that the 'All Programs' list does not accidentally appear when crossing over that region. - Fixed painting issue with bottom 32 px taskbar - Improved button corners for Shutdown and Logoff dialogs - Re-instated custom user pictures for this final version (with SE3 Vista user frames) Enjoy this final release of AeroTime and watch for a the first beta of Aero Xtreme 7 XP for WB coming in early July 2009! Requirements: - Windows XP with a 32 bit graphics card for transparency and blur - WindowBlinds 6.x by Stardock Permissions and Credits: - Aero Style was the base skin for AeroTime - CREDITS therefore go to Windows X and his predecessor KoL - PERMISSION GRANTED by Windows X to use his Aero Style skin as the base skin for AeroTime Several other skins, including Aero Ultimate by fediaFedia, were inspirational in the making of AeroTime but no images were copied from these skins. A few images from Stardock's Diamond skin might still remain in AeroTime but 99% of them were replaced since they were not accurate enough. In any case, the Diamond skin can be used as a base for any skin without permission.  You even managed to have the right width for the icon column in context menu. I might sound asshole, but this is better than fediafedia's
 I found some issues (but only some), just for improvement, I really love this skin:
- The left part of the startmenu does not blur on my PC. Probably just me. - The maximized caption should be at default opaque, also, the aero stripes do not fit at that part - In the startmenu, the mouseover on the right side is too dark - The white shadow in the titlebar behind the caption text is not very Vistaish  Again: just for improvement! This is a damn good skin!  Thanks!
I will keep track of all requests and come up with an SE2 version in April...
Concerning the maximized frame, in Vista, it matches the taskbar - both being opaque. However, WB doesn't allow the taskbar to go opaque when a window is maximized which is why, in AeroTime, both are translucide so that they at least match when a window is maximized. In any case, there are 3 opaque versions of the taskbar in the 'Extras\Skin Components\Frames Styles\Maximized' folder. Simply copy your preferred style to the AeroTime WB folder. Add to that the slickest, most professional presentation of a piece of freeware I have seen on deviantART (or damn near anywhere) and you have the ingredients for unqualified success. This skin is a masterpiece.
